Yes, Chuck Bass is precarious, and if anybody doesn't see that, he is certainly an imbecile. But, anybody who doesn't see that he is one of the sharpest minds around, and that his wit and intelligence matches that of many great men, is a fool. Casting aside the fact that he is a complete rake, a player - whatever you call it- you have to admit that he is also one of the most faithful, honest livers around. When Chuck Bass fell in love with Blair Waldorf, it felt like the world had become a better place. When he told her he loved her, I rewinded the scene 27 times, downloaded the scene and even posted it on my blog.
 When he said the words- "I Love You"- my heart melted. Later,when Blair said- " You're Chuck Bass."- and He said- "I'm not Chuck Bass without you", I ran to the roof of my building and proclaimed my love for him on the top of my voice. When Chuck Bass cried for his mother in Season 3, I cried with him. When he and Blair broke up, I vowed never to watch Gossip Girl again. ( But I did, eventually.)
That's when I realized.
